We’re thrilled to share our passion for martial arts with you. For some, our Cedar Park Martial Arts school might seem like all the rest – just another place to get fit and learn self-defense - but to us it’s so much more!

Learning new skills of any kind is difficult. One of the first things you’ll notice while training is that you’ll exercise most every muscle in your body in every class. 

As you practice, and put yourself to the test physically and mentally, you’ll realize that with all your hard work, your instructor’s expert guidance, and consistently showing up - you are capable of crushing your goals more than you know! This sense of achievement gives our students soaring confidence.

Martial arts is demanding at times and requires your full attention. As you concentrate hard on listening to the instructor, then performing what they taught you, you start to build important links in your brain that improve your ability to focus better and for longer periods of time.

Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art which draws inspiration from dance, music, and acrobatics. While it has a rich history dating back to 16th century Brazil, where slaves planned rebellions against their captors, today it is known as a fun sport and a great full-body workout.

The movements in Capoeira are fast, complex, and require high levels of strength, control, and coordination, resulting in full-body conditioning,  It's exercise that builds strength, power, and lean muscle mass.
